WRITER AND EDITOR
Hi! I'm Jaimie Mackey, a creative, witty, and trend-savvy writer specializing in lifestyle content. I'm a total wedding junkie, a self-proclaimed gourmand, a lover of travel and fashion, and passionate about creating inspiring, exciting, and immersive editorial content.
A graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University, I began my career at Colin Cowie Weddings, where I was first introduced to the world of weddings as I wrote and produced articles ranging from honeymoon destinations and registry tips to beauty DIYs and expert interviews. In the fall of 2013, I moved to Condé Nast, becoming the Real Weddings Editor for BRIDES Magazine. There, I had the extreme honor and privilege of working with the best wedding professionals in the world to curate spectacular weddings to feature in BRIDES Magazine and on Brides.com.
In February of 2015, I moved from New York City to Colorado and became a full-time freelance writer. I continue to write for both BRIDES Magazine and Brides.com, and also work behind-the-scenes in the wedding industry as the content director and an event producer for Bella Design & Planning, a Breckenridge-based wedding and event planning company.
When I'm not working on or writing about weddings, I love working closely with creative professionals to craft site content that match my clients' unparalleled talent.
I currently live in Eagle County, Colorado with my husband, Caleb, and our rescued lab mix, Libby, where we spend our free time cooking, traveling, and immersing ourselves in a mountain life full of long trail rides, deep snow, and towering peaks.
I can't wait to work with you!
